Luksusteltat Senegalissa

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.

Had a bit of unfinished look about the premises though the geodesic domes were great.

"Hyvät puitteet, yleiset tilat ja tunnelma kaiken kaikkiaan viihtyisä. Mukavasti myös aktiviteetteja ja ruokailu mahdollisuuksia tarjolla. Teltan varustelutaso ylitti odotukset."

Sijainti lähellä tietä, autojen äänet kuuluivat telttaan ja koirien haukunta (jostain kauempaa) kesti läpi yön. Sijainti olisi ollut parempi vähän syrjemmässä, jossa olisi kuulunut vain luonnon ääniä.

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"Saber and Mosbah were great! I really enjoyed my night in the desert due to their hospitality, despite the language barrier since i cant speak french or Arabic, but still i had a perfect stay! I enjoyed the songs and the food and the tea, couldn’t recommend enough!"

"The location is excellent (10/10) and really gives off a strong camping vibe, yet it’s conveniently close to many F&B options. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, with the bonus of having a private toilet."

Unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so the campfire had to be cancelled. However, the staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful—they provided umbrellas and floor mats to prevent rainwater from entering the room. Truly appreciated their warm hospitality and great service. Would definitely recommend this place!

"The location is a bit out of the city center, which you can expect for accommodation in yurts. It is a pleasant, peaceful, quiet location. The tent was really clean and nice. The lady who welcomed me was very kind, the breakfast was very tasty and the property itself is beautiful. During my stay, they were still doing some work, I believe, so it will be even nicer over time. But it was already top of the top!"

When I marked the location of the accommodation on Yandex, the driver had some problems finding the accommodation. The same thing happened to me when I left. The drivers and employees were so friendly that I just handed them the phone and they arranged everything themselves.

Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.

"Ihan oikiasti kaikesta. Jurtta oli tosi upea ja "cozy" ja mielettömissä maisemissa eläinten keskellä. Todella siisti ja puhtaan tuoksuinen paikka, suihkutila oli huippu kun pystyi samalla katselemaan maisemia ja pihassa oli grillit ja ruokailupöydät ja kaikki. Ihan mahtava kokemus. Henkilökunta myös todella mukavaa ja joustavaa väkeä, ja yöllä ihan hiljaista sirkan siritystä ja välillä kuuluvia eläinten ääniä lukuunottamatta. JA MITEN IHANAT PEHMEÄT PAKSUT PEITOT!"

"독채를 빌려서 측간소음, 층간소음 전혀없어서 좋았어요 바베큐장비, 취사기(밥솥), 냄비 있을게 다 있어서 밥해먹기도 좋았어요 차량도 자기숙소칸 앞에 세우다보니 소음 차단이 추가로 되는 느낌이라 좋았고, 바로앞에 해수욕장, 온천이 있어 좋아요."

딱히 아쉬운건 없었어요

"A small cabin in the woods, crown lands around allowing you to walk or hunt, no electricity, no phone network. A wood stove and candles. What's not to like?"

The road to get there is hard if you have a sedan especially after a snow storm.
