"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."

"Englantia ei osattu, mikä on erittäin paha asia, jo turvallisuusriski. Kansainvälisessä hotellissa pitää osata englantia. Maksukortit eivät toimineet, piti maksaa käteis-euroilla, dollaritkaan eivät kelvanneet. Erittäin paha asia, nöyryyttävä. Tällaista ei saa tapahtua."

"A tastefully furnished hotel with very kind and friendly owners who do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible, even in challenging conditions. The restaurant is beautifully designed and very welcoming. The room is simple but has everything you need. Good location, close to Volo Volo!"
