"We liked the free tours that were available at the hotel. The location was also very good, being right along the main street. The room was well equipped with a small soaking tub. And it was clean. The toilet looked like it had been recently updated."

"The doors and walls were rather thin, although that is understandable given the age of the hotel. The smell of the bamboo shoots from the bento boxes was quite strong in the hallway during dining hours."

"The room was pretty basic but clean and big enough. The location is amazing, right in the middle of tea plantations and close to many hikes you can do in the area. The host is super friendly; even if she speaks little english, she invited us and the other guests for a tea and a chat all together."

"The view from the air b n b is superb. Able to see the tea plantations as it is high up on the mountain. Pretty close to few of the walking trails. Owner is friendly."

"A bit inaccessible to the town as you need to walk the steep slope roads to reach air bnb. For us, we arranged private transport to the place."

"Sehr saubere Unterkunft direkt in der Teeplantage. Die Host-Familie ist sehr nett und hat uns auf zwei kostenlose Tee-Verköstigungen eingeladen. Ausserdem wurden wir zur Bushaltestelle in den Ort gefahren. Falls man dort Abendessen möchte, hätte er uns ebenfalls gefahren. Von der Unterkunft ist man direkt bei den verschiedenen Trails / Hikes der Umgebung."

"This is a simple, yet very sweet home-stay! If you like to stay away from the mass tourism of Alishan, this place is the best! Yes, the facilities are simple, and the it requires more planning and in terms of how to get to and from. But The location and view from the house are breathtaking, and there is peace you can’t find anywhere else! The family is charming and very helpful, and will help you get to Alishan recreation forest if you need. Communication was smooth. I highly recommend!"
