"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"The apartment is fantastic. It is in the very Nuuk centre. I am a photographer and there was no need to go far away from the house to take great pictures, either at daytime or at night. Unfortunately, northern light was not available during my stay. There was everything in the kitchen."

I needed to do international bank transfer to pay for my stay, but this was not a problem. I had no idea how to watch TV, no instructions was provided
