"Amazing outdoor space upstairs! Lovely views. Comfortable living spaces and bedrooms and two bathrooms. Safe place with secure parking. Proximity to the rainforest was great. Over all a very good value."

The unopened windows let a lot of noise through. Luckily, it wasn't too much of an issue since the roar of the waves (a very nice sound) was louder than a neighbor's music. In the bedroom, we heard a dog barking early in the morning but it didn't last too long. I could find no information on wifi in all the printed material but I was still able to check in for our flight so lack of wifi wasn't a big problem.

Unfortunately the amenities were sub-par. In our apartment the fan + light was not working for the entire stay. Despite several requests to have it fixed, it never got taken care of. Customer service is very polite and friendly but very inefficient. They always say yes we’ll take care of it but then don’t do anything. The kitchen is also really not a kitchen you could expect to do any actual cooking in for lack of utensils. We rented 2 apartments: one had a small Italian coffee maker (much too small for a party of 4) but the other didn’t. One apartment only had 2 mugs. The trash can was broken in one of the apartments. There were no beach towels nor bathroom floor mat in one apartment when we arrived. The outside shower broke and got fixed after we requested. Some of the blinds weren’t working (we got them fixed) and a window was filthy (we got it partially cleaned). Finally the apartments are really not sound proof at all and we were bothered by construction work going on in the neighborhood, parties nearby, water frequently gushing from the roof of the building outside the bedroom windows (couldn’t figure out why) and other street noises. The apartment with the balcony is much nicer than the other because you feel shut inside since you can’t open any of the windows (due to their blinds system) and get any views!

"Cici and her partner were really friendly. Once we knew where to go (we messaged the hosts to find the location) it was easy to speak to them as they were just opposite our apartment. Cici brought us cookies in the morning and offered us tea. She went out of her way to be really hostly. The beer and sodas in the fridge were a nice touch too."

"This apartment is nice an close to the a supermarket and there are a few restaurants too. The host was fantastic and very quick to the respond. My wife was sick on the checkin day and we were allowed early access so A+ there."

The AC units in the beds rooms are super noisy and the beds are squeaky.

"Muy limpio el lugar, cocina muy bien equipada, sillas de playa, neveritas, muchas toallas tanto para la playa como para aseo personal. Todos los equipos y enseres funcionando en optimas condiciones. Eramos dos parejas y un niño. Muy bien podria haber otra pareja ya que son 3 cuartos en el area de dormitorios y 2 baños."

Only down side was not having power or hot water after the first night which was understandable in PR and out of their control. Owner was easy to reach and communicated with us the whole time.
