"There was nothing to really "like" - nothing standing out - IMHO room facilities, decoration, bathroom and bedding where merely acceptable."

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was lovely. The breakfast that you get in the morning was tasty and a large portion. 2 cute little dogs running around on the farm. Cows grazing outside your door."

For summer months, a fan would be ideal in the room.
