"Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. Camerele sunt foarte mici ,de abia ai loc sa te miști. Aerul condiționat nu prea exista, este un fel de ventilator care nu face fata absolut deloc.

Ce sont des personnes accueillantes, généreuses et authentiques, toujours prêtes à partager leur culture, les lieux à découvrir et la gastronomie locale. "Beautiful villa on countryside. Jerry is excellent host he is very generous and try to help with all guest needs. Not to forget co-host Sam he can bring you from the airport and take you anywhere around the island. Excellent service. House is well equipped and has it all. Room was specious and modern. Separate room where you can wash your clothes. About 25 mins walk to Dickenson bay/beach and 10 mins walk to closest supermarket. Highly recommended to stay especially for solo travelers"

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"
