"Great house with all the equipment you might need, including a microwave and full kitchen tools. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the host was wonderful—funny, talkative, and always helpful. The location is excellent, close to everything we wanted to see. You can park your car right in front of the house. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed staying in this pleasant beautifully decorated house with the lovely host Genet and her 4 puppies. She was very warm ,welcoming and treated us like a member of the family. Genet was very efficient and organised and updated us regularly before our arrival. She arranged safe transport for us ,gave us very useful tips and reccomeded lovely places to dine at. Every day she prepared amazing traditional breakfast dishes and before we left even gave us her own home made berber and another special powder. Loved staying here and will always remember Genet"

Room didn’t look exactly how it does in the pictures, but was still nice. There were a lot of mosquitoes around though and I did get bitten in the night a lot due to no mosquito net, so make sure you wear repellent. Location is on the opposite side of bikini beach and next to the prison, but as the island is so small it’s still only a 15 minute walk away from the restaurants and main beach, however something to consider.

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

From the very first moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome – everyone was so kind, friendly and attentive, which created a really warm and relaxing atmosphere. The views were absolutely beautiful and we could truly enjoy and admire them during our stay. It made the whole experience even more special. Both the dinner and the breakfast were delicious and the overall standard of the hotel was excellent. Everything was very well taken care of and we felt really comfortable throughout our stay. The location was a but challenging, nothing to eat close by or to have a walk, but the owner was driving us everywhere, they were so nice

"Hostal is in a very quiet location. There is a lot of space around to park the car. Room had a perfect hard mattresses, was very clean and air condition worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.
