That the restaurant isn't closed and no one helped me with my huge case to my room ( iwas on my own and kinda just pointed in the right direction even though I had three bags.

"First of all, the Lodge is absolutely beautiful. We loved the architecture and attention to detail in every corner. The service was excellent, and the staff were very warm and welcoming, especially Allan who made us feel truly cared for. Special thanks to Silvia for her wonderful management and for creating such a peaceful quiet and relaxing experience. "Aamiainen oli hyvä, tummempaa leipää olisin kaivannut. Tiedot laktoosittomista ja gluteenittomista tuotteista puuttui kokonaan. Itse olen laktoosi-intolerantikko, joten en käyttänyt tarjolla olevia maitotuotteita lainkaan."

Hotellin tiedoissa mainittiin spa-osasto, mutta vasta paikan päällä minulle selvisi, että palvelu oli lisämaksullinen niille, jotka olivat varanneet standard-huoneen.

this could be improved: -the beach has a lot of potential, buiding a nice peer with stairs for a sea swim would make it much better -there isnt enough shade in the garden and the sun is punishing -the trees on the beach have fruits that hurt when falling, as part of garden maintenance they should be shuffled to drop the fruits upfront -the restaurant options both for breakfast, meals and snacks, leaves out a lot of the good things of Sao Tome. Look at your competitor Riu, for instance, they always have a section with local treats

Aamiaisella tarjonta on levitetty hyvin laajalle alueelle. Asioiden löytäminen kestää siksi aikaa.

Ovien äänieristys. Sitä ei käytännössä ole. Minulla sattui samaan aikaan olemaan joku kouluryhmä majoittumassa samaan aikaan. Ihan kaikki kuului huoneeseen. Se oli todella haastavaa, kun olin hyvin väsynyt saapuessani hoteliin

"Ibis is many times so and so in Europe, but this one was a positive surprise! The very friendly staff and kitchen made a late dinner even we arrived at the closing time of the restaurant! Rooms 'Ibistiny' but clean and good beds!"

We did not know that we should climd a lot of stairs in order to reach the restaurant. It was difficult for our parents.

In dem Zimmer befand sich eine kleine Küchenzeile, die aber keinen Gegenstand enthielt (also insb. keinen Becher oder Glas). Außerdem ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig.

There is no wardrobe in the room and no hand tissue was provided. The price was very expensive for the room No shuttle to pick up from the airport

"It is a old hotel with a lot of character and charm. Very high ceilings."

The bathroom could use some work and a deep scrubbing.

"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."

Huone oli melko ahdas ja pimeähkö. Myöskin näkymä ei ollut vuorille kuten varauksessa luki. Ikkuna oli ainoastaan vessassa ja se oli viereiseen taloon.

"I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel. Room 105 was cozy, clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was very clean and nice , and everything felt well maintained. I also really liked the stylish and cozy bar area. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.
