Breakfast and dinner well cooked, tasty but in a small quantity and not very diverse. "Very friendly and welcoming staff, everyone was so warm and kind. We extended our stay here as I was unwell and we asked for a lighter/quieter room. We were promptly moved to a lovely, large light room. Big clean bathroom and a really comfy cosy bed. The roof top here is brilliant, amazing views and super tasty food. The breakfast each morning was good, and different every day - always served with a smile. We extended our stay in the end for a week, and booked our trek with Basu at the hotel - which was organised perfectly. Overall really good value for money here, great location before a trek."

"The location is wonderful! The beautiful house where we rented a unit is right on the lake. The house is well-kept and beautiful. The weather was cold and a little foggy, which added to the atmosphere. In the summer, the residents walk 20 meters and are already in the lake, which invites swimming. The unit we got itself was quite small but sufficient. The breakfast was good. We stayed one night, but we would definitely go back there for a longer stay."

"The place is a pure perfection, one of the rare occassions where photos don't do the hotel justice. The cabanas are few and set in a beautiful green garden. Our cabana was beautifully decorated, there's a small kitchen with all necessary amnities, a bathroom with hot water, comfy bes and a terrace to relax on while waiting for a rain shower to pass ;) If you're a type of traveler who prefers tranquility, I urge you to stay on Carenero, while visiting Bocas del Toro. It's a short (1min, 1$) drive with a water taxi from Bocas Town and one will come to pick you up as soon as you set your foot on pier. The hotel is only 3min walk from the nearest pier."

It was perfect, by far the nicest place I've ever stayed in during my travels. Has a kind of a honeymoon vibe to it. I wish Booking offered a higher grade for places which exceed all others. 11/10 :)
