Hostellit Itävallassa

"Ilmapiiri oli ihana- Koska asiakkaiden vastaanotto oli yleisessä tilassa, niin uusi tulija tuli toivotetuksi tervetulleeksi monella tapaa. Pääsi heti mukaan porukkaan. Myös henkilökunta oli osa porukkaa, toki asiakastyön hyvin hoitaen- Yhteisessä tilassa paras sohva ikinä. Ilmainen pyykinpesu oli mahdollista. Huoneissa säilytystila oli ruhtinaallinen. Pääsin muiden asukkaiden kanssa niin hyvin tuttavaksi yhteisessä tilassa, että olin seuraamassa heidän kanssaan jalkapallo-ottelua. Muistini mukaan ensimmäisen kerran. En näet ole yhtään kiinnostunut jalkapallosta."

Kaikki oli jotenkin erinomaisesti kohdallaan.

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"Tunnelma hostellilla on mahtava. Sijainti on kiva, kaukana kaupungin keskustan hulinasta. Vaikka Zakopane on turistirysä, niin tällä hostellilla aikaa viettämällä tuntuu kuin olisit pienemmässä matkakohteessa. Kivat kotieläimet hostellilla plussaa. Vapaaehtoistöissä oleva henkilökunta oli aina ystävällistä ja teki hyvää työtä ja piti meistä hyvää huolta. Jopa vähän liian hyvää, sillä kun tulin kipeäksi (normaali ruokamyrkytys), niin minulle soitettiin ambulanssi pihaan, vaikka vakuuttelin moneen kertaan että olen kunnossa, toivon että tästä ei tule laskua perään. Täydellinen yksin matkustavalle!"

Aamiainen on ok, mutta ei riitä jos edessä on pitkä vaelluspäivä. Se on kuitenkin helppo ratkaista ostamalla esim. omia kananmunia valmiiksi jääkaappiin seuraavaa aamua varten.

"Spent some wonderful days here! Especially Yessin, the host is really nice and helpful! There’s a shared kitchen, a terrace, where you can meet other guests and also a living room. Beds are comfy. Would recommend it for backpackers, who want to explore Tatouine and the area around. Yessine can you provide recommendations for both and even organise a tour."

"Amazing hostel, nice location and there are always a lot of travellers passing by. If you are planning to go to the seven lakes it’s very likely you’ll find other people so you can share a car to the lakes, stay overnight at the guesthouse. The hostel also lets you leave your things if you’re leaving and then come back."

"A very nice and atmospheric resort. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of parking spaces. There is a gazebo on site where you can barbecue and spend a nice evening. Additionally, a small playground for children. The rooms are very clean. Two toilets and 3 shower cabins per floor."

"This is a really great hostel. Perfectly located in the historic centre and yet close to restaurants and shops. A warm welcome and helpful staff throughout who all seem to enjoy their roles. They even provided a towel as well as fresh linen for the dormitory beds. Really nice design for the hostel - clean and bright."

"Property had a really nice hang out space and the WiFi worked really well and was very fast for our 2 day stay. Staff helped us arrange a local bus to Chipata."

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…

"The owner was vey kind. He let us check in early as we took an overnight bus to Siwa. The room was very comfortable and we were able to use the facilities even after check out as we were waiting for our next overnight bus! Thank you for such kind hospitality!"

"Kelly and his family are amazing hosts. We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

"Todella ystävällinen ja mukava henkilökunta!!! Kiitos! Tosi hyvin organisoitu kaikki! Todella siistiä! Petivaatteet ja pyyhe kuuluu hintaan. Sijainti oli täydellinen, keskellä kaikkea. Lentokentälle pääsee S16-junalla, eikä tarvitse menna Hauptbahnhofin kautta. Eka huone oli pienempi, toinen iso, jossa oli kulmaikkunat, joista ihana näkymä Grossmunsterille. Kahvia ja teetä saatavilla ilmaiseksi. Tulisin uudelleen!"

"Amazing location (about 2 minutes to Monastiraki Square, shops nearby), friendly staff. The terrace has a superb view of the city and the Acropolis. Great value for money."

Torn curtains and the tiniest pillows in existence. Also, very loud from outside, but we were too tired to care - might be useful for somebody else to know.
