"Just that the main gate gets locked and you will have to call or knock until you are heard. So don't stay out for long at nights."

"Hostellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja puhui hyvin englantia. Lainasin majoituspaikasta snorkkelin, minua neuvottiin sen käytössä ja suositeltiin parhaita rantoja. Hostellissa oli lämmin ja yhteisöllinen tunnelma, oleskelualueita oli paljon niin sisällä kuin ulkona. En yleensä viihdy hostelleissa, mutta tässä kohteessa olisin toivonut pysyneeni pidempään!"

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"Työntekijät todella mukavia. Saatiin heti tervetuliaismalja ja erityisesti aamiaista järjestävä mies todella sympaattinen, tarjosi hedelmiä yms. Joka toinen päivä myös ilmaista olutta, jolloin helppo sosialisoitua. Todella hyvä sijainti ja dormit muutaman hengen huoneissa. Bookkasimme hostellin kautta Ha Giang loopin ja se oli todella helppo ja onnistunut retki. Saimme myös jättää rinkkamme koko retken ajaksi hostelliin. Kaiken kaikkiaan kodikas ja miellyttävä kokemus. Palausimme milloin vain uudestaan"

Siisteys muuten ok, mutta yksi torakka huoneessamme antaa siisteydelle miinuksen.

"Hostelli oli erinomainen ja viihdyin siellä muutaman yön. Sijainti oli hyvä, huone siisti ja palvelut löytyy läheltä. Omistaja oli mukava ja avulias. Kannattaa vuokrata joku kulkupeli ja tutustua saareen sillä se on todella upea! Itse vuokrasin polkupyörän millä oli helppo kiertää lähialueita."

"Rento, erinomainen sijainti ja hinta-laatusuhde. Alakerran ravintola oli kiva. Toisena iltana oli livemusiikkia (joka ei kuulunut makuutiloihin). 10 hengen makuutila oli hyvin rauhallinen ja ihmiset ystävällisiä. Pod oli riittävän tilava. Aamupalan sai mukaan aamuvarhaisella retkelle lähtiessä."

Kannattaa huomata, että podissa on vain USB-A latausmahdollisuus, eikä USB-C:tä. Huoneissa kuitenkin on pistorasioita myös. Podit tulevat aika lämpimiksi yön aikana.

"Majatalo on aivan rannassa. Ranta on mukulakivikkoa, mutta ei teräviä kiviä. Oli mukava käydä uimassa aamuin illoin. Terassilta aukeni näkymä upeisiin auringonlaskuihin"

Liikenteen melu joskus häiritsi. Ei kuitenkaan yöllä.

"Meillä ei ollut ikkunattomalle hostellihuoneelle kovin korkeita odotuksia, joten vierailu oli täynnä pelkästään positiivisia yllätyksiä! Sijainti oli aivan loistava ihan keskustassa ravintoloiden ympäröimänä, eikä meidän huoneeseen kuulunut lainkaan ulkomaailman ääniä, kun ikkunoita ulos ei ollut. Muutenkaan ikkunattomuus ei haitannut meitä lainkaan, huone oli hyvin siisti ja yksiöksi tilava ja omat WC-tilat meille iso plussa. Wi-Fi toimi erinomaisesti. Pesimme hostellin pesulassa pyykkiä ja se oli tehokasta ja todella kätevää. Henkilökunta oli ihanan avuliasta ja muutenkin ilmapiiri oli aina todella hyvä. Mahtava hostellikokemus!"

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night

"Very professional staff. Authentic experience and accommodation. Artistic spacious common areas. The Best accommodation provided breakfast we had on our month-long trip in East Africa. All staff members are genuinely friendly."

Very basic. I had a room to myself, but if I had to share, it'd be very cramped. Power outlet wasn't near the beds.

Huoneen ovea pidettiin yöllä auki ja kävelykadults kuului koko yön paljon huutoa, puhetta ja kourien haukuntaa. Se häiritsi jnta.

"Amazing location (about 2 minutes to Monastiraki Square, shops nearby), friendly staff. The terrace has a superb view of the city and the Acropolis. Great value for money."

Torn curtains and the tiniest pillows in existence. Also, very loud from outside, but we were too tired to care - might be useful for somebody else to know.

"The price and location of this hostel are excellent. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. Tobias and the cat Felix (aka Garfield) did a great job running the place while the owner, Christian, was enjoying his vacation in Greece. Highly recommended"

"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. Breakfast is elegant and tasty, and the price is absolutely fantastic for Dakar – it is hard to ask for more at this level. For me, in Dakar: a well‑deserved 5 out of 5 stars."
