There was some water on the bathroom floor, which I guess was caused by a leaking pipe. It did affect the overall experience a bit.

"Tämä oli todella kuin tehty rentoutumiseen ja rauhoittumiseen. Henkilökunta oli aivan ihana sekä tekivät tervetulleen olon vaikka matkustin yksin. Olin itseasiassa ainut asiakas sillä hetkellä, mikä oli vähän hassua, mutta ei haitannut ollenkaan. Henkilökunnan viinitietämys sekä viinien säilytyshuoneen esittely oli mielenkiintoinen. Sijainti on aivan upea vuoriston keskellä."

Ei oikeastaan mitään valitettavaa. Jos jotain pitää keksiä niin huone oli aavistuksen lämmin ja mietin olisiko keskellä kesää liian kuuma, itse matkustin toukokuun alussa.

El desayuno es muy tarde. Entiendo que debería ser más temprano. Ya que a las 9 es muy tarde y no hay nada cerca para desayunar.

Ovien äänieristys. Sitä ei käytännössä ole. Minulla sattui samaan aikaan olemaan joku kouluryhmä majoittumassa samaan aikaan. Ihan kaikki kuului huoneeseen. Se oli todella haastavaa, kun olin hyvin väsynyt saapuessani hoteliin

Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

"Location was very good I did not know that Victoria Falls was that close I will recommend to my friend and family when they visit there"

Eihän tämä nyt pitkään asumiseen ole suunniteltukaan, vaan matkalaisille lepopaikka.

While the accommodation was clean and comfortable, it is in dire need of an update.

La chambre était trop petite pour un couple.

No wifi in the rooms. Which is actually not that bad. Helps disconnecting a bit.

"Iso huoneisto, lähellä rantaa, monipuolinen aamiainen ja ystävällinen henkilökunta, suihkussa lämmintä vettä + vedenpaine loistava. Hienoja toiminnallisuuksia huoneessa (wc-istuin, suihku, verhot) ja ihanan pehmeä sänky. Päivittäin ilmaiset jäätelöt ja hedelmät."

Vessa oli hieman pimeä, kaipaisi enemmän valoa.

I didn't like that there was a problem with water it wasn't working as it should be

"The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.

Nothing at all it was just the mud on the entrance which was beyond their controll( natural cause)

"This is such a unique property and what an experience to stay in a Troglodyte home. We were welcomed warmly and thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the cave like rooms, that were so spacious too. Dinner is available at the guesthouse for a reasonable price considering how much food they gave us too."

The showers in the bathrooms have zero water pressure, it was just a trickle of water unfortunately.

"Mohammad was quite helpful. The sizes were quite small but did meet the purpose. A little over priced TBH but was OK."

Be aware of the Taxes and VAT as the displayed prices are not inclusive of them.

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.
