"This might be the best place to stay in Baler! The building is new, the room is stylish and comfortable! I stayed in the ground floor room with a patio and swimming pool and my friend stayed in the upper room with the balcony and amazing sea view."

"While I have nothing against larger resorts I much prefer the charm of a boutique stay and Corazon de Baler more than delivered on that front. Our spacious terrace room was tastefully decorated with a couch and large kitchenette that made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel room. The huge sliding doors exposed the incredible ocean view as well as gave quick access to both the plunge pool and some great surf breaks. Owners Mark and Cora as well as their staff were amazingly friendly and helpful making our stay the highlight of an amazing month long Philippine vacation. I highly recommend and can’t wait to return."

"Location, view, comfort, hospitality--Corazon de Baler has it all. Fun waves, too! Fantastic first weekend in the Philippines, delightful surfing, interesting hike to Charlie's Point (the Apocalypse Now beach). Inexpensive surf board rentals and restaurant with live music next door. Cora, Mark, Joey, and Ria are wonderful."

"Pros: - Beach front - Pool for my baby was a plus - They provided kitchen plates, spoons, forks and even sponge with dishwashing soap. - Parking - Internet with netflix. - Comfy bed and pillows. - Free coffee and tea. - Joey, the caretaker was extremely accommodating and nice. Thank you. Cons: - A bit dusty. Since the top of the ref was eye level, you can see the dust. Other things not related to Corazon but good for other guests to know: - The beach was dirty. We were a bit disappointed. Not too kid friendly. - Few choices for food. Aliya Surf was crowded, we had to drive to look for another restaurant or ride a tricycle. A few cafe that's walking distance, but that's it."

"The property exceeded our expectations! We were greeted warmly by the owners Cora and Mark and made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The view was better than the photos and the ocean breeze kept us cool throughout our stay. Caretaker Joey readily helped with our requests from renting a surf board to arranging our transport back to Manila on very short notice. Our 2-day stay was much too short and we will definitely return!"

"Great staff, beautiful place for relaxing and we felt home there."
"This is a beautiful historic home chock-a-block with antiques and collectibles. We stayed in the room with 2 caleshes converted into twin beds. Very unique and it was the quietest room but still a lot of street noise. In fact this is the problem with the location. The street noise is very,very loud and starts up around 6 am. Also, the service in the coffee shop was a bit abrupt and instead of a brewed coffee for the included breakfast we were given a cheap instant packet. Good for a single night but that’s all that Vigan requires anyway."

"The name "Cozy" suites was choosen well because its veeery cozy there, like a second home. We slept there for more than 3 weeks and it was the best accomondation we had in the philippines. The price is also unbeatable for what you get. Also a very nice area close to the mountains if you dont like big citys. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back the next time we visit negros."
