"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."
"The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night."

"The wildlife here was diverse and was extremely interesting just within the site. we saw many birds (and placards to help us distinguish them), iguanas, fireflies, and even a frog. It was all very cute and fun! The property is clean and surprisingly well furnished; we could cook and there was plumbing, addressing our biggest concerns about family camping. Our family had a great trip here."
"Like anywhere in Puerto Rico, there are many mosquitoes, so plan ahead with bug repellent. Also, we forgot that despite the awesome accommodations, we are still camping and it can get cold at night. Dress warmly in PR winter nights. Altogether though, these were minor issues compared to everything else that can be mitigated with some planning."
