"The owner is kind and helpful. When he heard I am landing in TLV at 3AM he did recommend how to reach his place, looked after trains to Beniamina, proposed that in case of absence of taxi from train station he can fetch me. Flexible on check-in and out times. My payment didn’t went by credit card, so I needed to pay cash. Owner said no problem, can wait until I am back from shopping mall."

The part I wasn’t much happy - it’s moskitos,and I think the owner will fix it (cables in the window living small glitch for insects) soon.

"Lovely place.. super modern, well designed, mod cons, all new, spotlessly clean detached home in the peaceful and bougie suburbs of the city.. Very comfortable, with great natural light. Lots of great modern facilties for eg the warm air in the bathroom. The process was seamless and experience was faultless. The pictures are a true and fair representation."

This place is fantastic, so reluctant to put neg things here! The following tweaks would have made it perfect! A well placed (thicker) hedge at the front could provide more privacy for the small patio area which sits at front of the house (roadside). Shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities are really modern so was surprised no dimmer switch on lights. A lamp could help with soft lighting. More translated material for non Japanese. English in my case.

"I stayed here for two weeks during my work trip. The owners, Sandra and her husband, were very friendly and responsive. Before arriving, I checked whether they had a coffee machine in the villa; they made sure I would have one to use when I arrived. They had a brand new espresso machine for me. It was great to have access to good coffee, as Lilongwe's cafe culture is still developing. The housekeeper, Alice, was also excellent—very clean, tidy, and does laundry perfectly. The location is great in a very safe and green area with several tucked away restaurants in 20 -30 min walking distances, but without a car, it is a bit inconvenient to get around. But, this generally applies to anywhere else in Lilongwe. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to be stuck in a hotel room during an extended work trip or if you're visiting Lilongwe for more than a couple of days."

The conversion and history was amazing along with the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. The kids loved the pool with the different lights and jacuzzi and they had great fun. Also had beach towels which was a plus. There was a full sized table tennis table which was also good fun. Location was really good and situated in a beautiful place. Shops were extremely close and it also had advantage of it being open 24 hours a day. They had bbq facilities as well however due to the weather we never got a chance to use this. The owner even bought and delivered us a birthday cake for someone in our party which was delicious."

There are no mosquito nets. When you don’t like using AC it could be a problem.

Det har ikke så meget med overnatningsstedet at gøre, men hvis man tager til øen i efteråret (jeg var der i oktober) er der ingen steder at gå ud, da alt er lukket. Det skal man huske da det bliver tidligt mørket og solen står sent op.

The bathroom.. Especially the one upstairs was not functioning and was not functional. It was spoiled and one had to use a bucket of water to flash. The breakfast provided was quite basic and not worth it.

"- The location is great with absolutely fantastic snorkelling out the front (felt very safe and I’m not a strong swimmer) - use of Kayaks an added bonus - refreshing to cool off in the pool or relax in a hammock - the villas are clean and user friendly, very comfortable bed, excellent wifi and aircon highly valued -Michael is a champion with a friendly smile, excellent local knowledge and nothing we asked about was a hassle or too much trouble! "Very spacious, very private. It was comfortable. We were kindly met at San Marino bus station and taken to the villa. Also kindly taken to the supermarket first to buy some food as the villa is very isolated. Taxi was recommended to us, and was reliable and comfortable. The area was amazing to visit. Information was sent to us to answer our questions. Prompt response."

The villa was further away from the main area of San Marino than expected. As we did not have a car, we were reliant on a taxi, which worked out very expensive. There were a few items in the sink which looked as if intended to be washed up but forgotten. We struggled with sorting out the TV and also finding the right adapter for our chargers and could not find a familiar kettle. These were little things but frustrating after a long journey. It would have been helpful to have an information booklet to explain some of these things so we did not have to keep asking our host.
