Pool not heated, so a bit bracing when we took a dip. It was mid-November though.

"Spacious, comfortable and clean villa close to the popular beach of Tofta. Our kids loved the private pool and ping-pong table. Thanks to the generosity of the owner, we were able to explore the island and left feeling both wiser and entertained. Highly recommended!"

Everything was lovely. One small note only: it would have been nice if sheets were included in the rental, as guests might assume they are.

Es war sehr ordentlich, die Betten alle bezogen, alles hat gut gerochen und war sehr einladend. Außerdem war das Haus super sauber. Wichtig für die Anfahrt ist ein Auto mit Allradantrieb (4WD), damit man die letzten Meter nach oben kommt ;) Wir waren zu 5 dort und hatten eine tolle Zeit."

Huset är lite slitet och skulle må bra av lite renovering och förnyelse. Men allt fungerar och det är välutrustat och städat.

This was a good bed and breakfast stay for us, only thing I didn’t like was the price but that’s nothing to do with the property it’s just a netherlands standard thing which is around 200 per night

"Excellent staff, spacious location and games room a bonus. Easy access by car to Blue Lagoon and Boston Beach with a couple of dollars' entry charge. (Could walk to Frenchman's Cove but entry charge excessive so didn't bother.)"

Location is confusing as one has to walk quite a bit from Lukla Airport. They should coordinate a porter with arriving guests. It's very cold there and room heaters must be provided for the night. Also, 24 hour hot water supply must be provided

"Rudy and his wife were amazing. I would definitely recommend Tropical Sands. When you've been out all day exploring the island this little paradise is ideal to come back to, quiet and tranquil next to the beach."
