"The owners are very friendly - they even celebrated New Year night with us. The property is very green and beautiful, and there is parking available inside the yard. The room is very large and spacious, and you can go swimming right outside your door. Snorkeling is great, especially near the shipwreck. There is a kayak, which my husband used to go fishing. Laundry service is available upon request. We were pleasantly surprised to find delicious bananas waiting for us in the room. I highly recommend staying here - you won’t regret it!"

"Wir waren bereits zum zweiten mal in diesem Haus. Diesesmal hat uns die Sauberkeit sehr positiv überrascht. Es war sehr ordentlich, die Betten alle bezogen, alles hat gut gerochen und war sehr einladend. Hier und da etwas Dekoration war super schön und hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"Good location allowing trips to different parts of Ohrid lake, and the national park. Spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, balcony and living room and with a kitchen that we used once. The view from the living room is fantastic, and so is the swimming pool view. Open area for seating is also nice. They also gave us some wine and toasties for kids gratis once so was quite nice. Parking is easy, lake in front and a mini market close by. They don’t serve breakfast or dinner but there is a nice pizzeria close by and a couple of other restaurants that we tried. Breakfast ok - changes a bit. Good tips by the staff when requested."

The air con is in the living room so it can get hot in the bedroom during the day. A fan was provided on request.

"Very helpful manager Mr. Bikram Lama. He helped out a lot. the evening fireplace is wonderful to keep warm. Breakfast is made-to-order and hence decent. Once you are in the property, it's a great feeling just next to the runway!!"

Location is confusing as one has to walk quite a bit from Lukla Airport. They should coordinate a porter with arriving guests. It's very cold there and room heaters must be provided for the night. Also, 24 hour hot water supply must be provided

"This house is a secret gem. I was a bit worried because there were no reviews when I stayed but do not fear! The location was incredible, completely in nature. The house is super comfortable. We only regretted we didn't have longer. Would 100% book again."

You can watch the sunset over the river and enjoy the laid-back vibe. The staff, especially Tom, were amazing! 🤩 I was feeling pretty sick, but Tom went above and beyond, providing me with electrolytes and making sure I was comfortable. His kindness and care made a huge difference. Overall, I'd give Ban Lakkham River View Hotel 5/5 stars for location and staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 🏨💕"

"Its a quite place. All of their staffs are too nice and helpful. The resort is just walking distance from the town centre or the ski. There was an unexpected party during of of our dinner which elevated our experience to the next level. Overall it was really good place and we were all happy."

The 3rd bedroom is a small room just enough to place a single bed. There was only one common bathroom for a 2.5 bed cottage which was quite frustrating.

"Spacious, comfortable and clean villa close to the popular beach of Tofta. Our kids loved the private pool and ping-pong table. Thanks to the generosity of the owner, we were able to explore the island and left feeling both wiser and entertained. Highly recommended!"

Everything was lovely. One small note only: it would have been nice if sheets were included in the rental, as guests might assume they are.
