Huvilat Ugandassa

"Wir waren bereits zum zweiten mal in diesem Haus. Diesesmal hat uns die Sauberkeit sehr positiv überrascht. Es war sehr ordentlich, die Betten alle bezogen, alles hat gut gerochen und war sehr einladend. Hier und da etwas Dekoration war super schön und hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"Das großzügige Platzangebot. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Hochstühle für Kleinkinder sowie Babybett sind vorhanden. Im Treppenhaus steht auch ein Schrank mit Büchern und Spielen. Ebenso sind Staubsauger vorhanden. Für eine alte Villa war die Wohnung gut in Schuss."

Zwei Punkte möchte ich anmerken. In der Loggia links neben der Tür, war eine Fenstervertäfelung locker. Die müsste wieder festgeklebt werden. Und der Buffetschrank im Wohnzimmer ist nicht mit der Wand verbunden. Da das Angebot auch an Familien mit Kleinkindern gerichtet ist, sollte hier nachgebessert werden.

"The villas are on private property just off the beach road that divides the property to peaceful lush gardens with villas and the beach side with pool, bar, outdoor shower and beach area. Villa has a spacious teracce that is perfect spot for relaxing and wildlife watching - birds, iguanas, parrots, butterflies, collibries - better than the Gilpin trail! :) Each villa has own host that met us at our arrival. She helped us to settle, showed us the house and next day she cooked the lunch for us as per our wish - the local cuisine - callaloo, cou cou and mahi mahi and it was delicious."

That we could not stay longer! :) And the fans above the bed were little fast, not able to slow them down.

"The location was very good not to far from the centre. The apartment was spacious very cozy and comfortable.The architecture of the building was very nice.It had everything we needed,the kitchen was very rich in utensils.Great experience overall."

"The villa is huge! We loved the location because it was very serene and tranquil. No pretentious resort and loud music! We managed perfectly without the car. We walked a lot and met few local people in the village. People around are very friendly and chilled. The views are beautiful, beds comfortable, pool is a nice size. It was far too big for the two of us but we enjoyed the space thoroughly. We even walked to the Mount gay distillery… fairly long walk but again nice to see the area around. Two old men in the car stopped and asked if we wanted a lift, we thought that was very sweet. We walked few times to Speightstown for food and shopping. I wouldn’t bother with the restaurant Local and Co… very small portions and nothing special. Feels pretentious."

The private chef for us felt a bit too much. It’s nice to be cooked for but the idea of a villa to me is that we are alone and not that we have chef and cleaning lady there during the day. Plus the chef talks too much :) Some days we just cancelled the chef and made our own eggs for breakfast and went to eat in the local restaurant the fish pot which was pricey but very good and walkable. The best mahi mahi fish tacos I have ever had! I think the private chef is probably more viable when you have a larger party.

"Läget är fantastiskt och kontakten med ägaren fungerade väldigt bra. Villan fungerar utmärkt för 4 personer med egna badrum och stort kök och vardagsrum. Läget på stranden inbjuder till många härliga bad och strandpromenader."

Huset är lite slitet och skulle må bra av lite renovering och förnyelse. Men allt fungerar och det är välutrustat och städat.

3泊したのですがタオルが2泊分しか無かったのでちょっと残念でした。

"El lugar era tal cual se veía en las fotos, hermoso, muy cuidado y limpio. La anfitriona muy amable, nos respondio las dudas que teniamos respecto de la ciudad, siempre atenta a todo."

"The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling! The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to them."

Only downside is the location that means restaurants are a short drive away - even the closest (about 1km) is a drive because of the fast narrow road without pavement. The main town of Brezice is worth visiting though for its restaurants, cafes, castle and water tower.

"L'endroit est très propre et décoré avec goût, on se croirait chez soit ! Cette maison est un paradis que ce soit pour les adultes et pour les enfants. Il y a un coin jeux extérieur pour eux, et des jouets ainsi que des équipements loisir (draisienne, ballon rebondissant, etc...) à l'intérieur. Les services proposés sont également de qualité et très intéressants !"

The facilities in the rooms need updating. The breakfast could offer more choices. After the 4th day ,it would be nice to have a change. There was limited seating in the shade for breakfast.

La conception architecturale de la maison qui en fait un lieu d’exception dans tous ses aménagements et principalement la piscine à débordement de grande taille avec une vue sur l’océan indien . Le calme et la sérénité du lieu : la musique de l’océan , le chant des oiseaux et du vent … un coucher de soleil tous les soirs sur l’océan : de la piscine , du salon , de la cuisine et de notre chambre , du jardin …. Une vue panoramique à 180 degrés !!! L’emplacement géographique dans le quartier de l’hermitage : accès direct au lagon et proximité à pied de Saint-Gilles ."

"Great value & service. The house is in the second line of buildings. The property was perfectly clean, plenty of towels, a lot of space. Perfect place for a group of friends, close to restaurants and city center. There is a guest house with a nice sauna."

Pool not heated, so a bit bracing when we took a dip. It was mid-November though.

"Villa Fleur de Lys is a great sized villa, right on the beach, with a swimming pool and has excellent amenities. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. There is a kid's games room and an entertainment centre with a gym, foosball table, ping pong table and pool table. The included breakfast is big enough and the restaurant provided large portion sizes. The beach is okay for swimming, but aqua shoes are recommended as there are rocks."

"Getting to the island was a mission, the ferries go when the ferries go! Nice welcome on arrival and excellent diving. Clean and comfortable room. Lovely to be away from the internet."

Minor things, although the food tasted nice it could have been warmer and in our room it needed the gaps filling around the windows and doors to stop the mozzies.

"3층짜리 단독빌라로 넓고 환한 방이 2층에 3개, 3층에 2개, 화장실과 욕실도 2,3층에 있어서 7명이 쓰기에 너무 좋음. 1층은 넓은 거실과 정수기가 비치된 주방까지 흠 잡을 것이 없음."

시압바자르나 둘러볼만한 곳들이 위치한 곳과는 거리가 멀어 항상 얀덱스로 이동해야 하는 것이 불편함. 호스트가 미리 와이파이 이동 비용을 지불하지 않아 2일 (주말)내내 무료 와이파이를 사용하지 못함.

You can watch the sunset over the river and enjoy the laid-back vibe. The staff, especially Tom, were amazing! 🤩 I was feeling pretty sick, but Tom went above and beyond, providing me with electrolytes and making sure I was comfortable. His kindness and care made a huge difference. Overall, I'd give Ban Lakkham River View Hotel 5/5 stars for location and staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 🏨💕"

"This house is a secret gem. I was a bit worried because there were no reviews when I stayed but do not fear! The location was incredible, completely in nature. The house is super comfortable. We only regretted we didn't have longer. Would 100% book again."

Some v minor cleaning issues.

"Rauhallinen luonnonläheinen paikka hiihtolatujen lähellä. Autolla pääsi nopeasti rinteeseen, joko Southpoint tai Koillisrinteet. Talo oli todella tilava, tyylikkäästi sisustettu ja siisti, oli helppo järjestää illanvietto isommallekin porukalle. Hienot tilavat saunatilat ja poreallas tietenkin plussaa, tv-tila ja sen palvelut erinomaiset."

Jätteiden kierrätys olisi hyvä järjestää niin, että pystyy muovit, kartongit ja biojätteet viemään niille sopiviin paikkoihin.
