Minor things, although the food tasted nice it could have been warmer and in our room it needed the gaps filling around the windows and doors to stop the mozzies.

"Villa Fleur de Lys is a great sized villa, right on the beach, with a swimming pool and has excellent amenities. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. There is a kid's games room and an entertainment centre with a gym, foosball table, ping pong table and pool table. The included breakfast is big enough and the restaurant provided large portion sizes. The beach is okay for swimming, but aqua shoes are recommended as there are rocks."

Pool not heated, so a bit bracing when we took a dip. It was mid-November though.

Päätimme jatkaa majoitusta vielä 3 päivää lisää, koska olimme paikkaan erittäin tyytyväisiä. Henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja auttavaisia. Tämä ei ole 5 tähden resortti, mutta ottaen huomioon syrjäisen sijainnin ja olosuhteet niin paikka tuntui 5 tähden majoitukselta. Kuvat ovat huonommat kuin mitä huoneet / alueet ovat todellisuudessa."

"The villas are on private property just off the beach road that divides the property to peaceful lush gardens with villas and the beach side with pool, bar, outdoor shower and beach area. Villa has a spacious teracce that is perfect spot for relaxing and wildlife watching - birds, iguanas, parrots, butterflies, collibries - better than the Gilpin trail! :) Each villa has own host that met us at our arrival. She helped us to settle, showed us the house and next day she cooked the lunch for us as per our wish - the local cuisine - callaloo, cou cou and mahi mahi and it was delicious."

That we could not stay longer! :) And the fans above the bed were little fast, not able to slow them down.

"Its a quite place. All of their staffs are too nice and helpful. The resort is just walking distance from the town centre or the ski. There was an unexpected party during of of our dinner which elevated our experience to the next level. Overall it was really good place and we were all happy."

The 3rd bedroom is a small room just enough to place a single bed. There was only one common bathroom for a 2.5 bed cottage which was quite frustrating.

"Very spacious, very private. It was comfortable. We were kindly met at San Marino bus station and taken to the villa. Also kindly taken to the supermarket first to buy some food as the villa is very isolated. Taxi was recommended to us, and was reliable and comfortable. The area was amazing to visit. Information was sent to us to answer our questions. Prompt response."

The villa was further away from the main area of San Marino than expected. As we did not have a car, we were reliant on a taxi, which worked out very expensive. There were a few items in the sink which looked as if intended to be washed up but forgotten. We struggled with sorting out the TV and also finding the right adapter for our chargers and could not find a familiar kettle. These were little things but frustrating after a long journey. It would have been helpful to have an information booklet to explain some of these things so we did not have to keep asking our host.
