"We were originally going to stay at the main Thermal Hotel, but saw this and the rating and thought why not, and so glad we did! The property is next door and in the centre, and the host is amazing. Guy called me ahead of arrival to tell me about location / access etc, and was the perfect host when we arrived. He had even set up the room TV including Netflix to our language. "Great property in a very quiet location, though still close to the restaurants. Francis has taken personal care of us. House is lovely, clean, kitchen is well equiped. We took tour with Francis as well, both were wonderfull. You can spend your time at the beach and will be there alone most of the time, since the property is small (pls note that swimming is not recommend, as pretty much everywhere on this island). We have very much enjoyed our vacation there."

We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

"This is a lovely place to stay for anyone who is wanting a break from hotel/hostel life. Rodrigo and his wife are so welcoming and kind. Everything that you need is there (coffee, tea, cold water, a fully equipped kitchen), including information and a laundry service that is great value for money (possibly the best that I have had in my 5 weeks of travelling so far!). The location is perfect for León, I feel lucky to have booked this place."

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

Place not really clean.

"I loved staying at an authentic Lucian home in an area outside of Laborie. The couple is super friendly and they are both very willing to help in any way they can with tips and advice. The breakfast was incredible, even taking into consideration some diet restrictions (due to a cleanse I was doing). All in all I would recommend this place for anyone who is curious about a true St. Lucia experience. Get a rental car if you do, to you can get there more easily."

Almost nothing. Maybe the only thing I would change is being able to keep the door open for some fresh air. I couldn't because the new cat, Frisky, was not allowed inside. This made it a little hot inside at times.

"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path.
