"We enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise. Timmi, the owner, is quite friendly and helpful. Her house is colorful and stands out in the neighborhood. The room seems very new. It is spotlessly clean, large, and includes a complete kitchen. It has all the appliances you could possibly use. There is a very large bottle of drinking water so you will never be thirsty. The air conditioning is strong and the TV has many channels. I would recommend this this lodging to anyone staying in Antigua."

"My room was wonderful, airy, comfortable, clean with touches of local culture. Kevin was an excellent host, always cheerful, smiling, helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious. The verandas are perfect. It was a great opportunity to stay amidst the local indigenous culture."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. The place was spotless, and everything was clearly very well cared for. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, yet the location was excellent and very convenient. The room layout was very practical and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable right away. The internet was extremely fast and reliable. The bathroom was a real highlight — a fantastic shower with both a rain shower and a movable shower head, and the water pressure was excellent. The host was friendly, attentive, and very responsive to any questions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place."

The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. "We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

"That’s amazing studio flat in a very nice hotel. It is sad that is sharing apartment, but you don’t share anything. You have your private bathroom, washing machine, private kitchen, private balcony, the only thing you share is one door to get to your flat. There are food shops and restaurants all around. Tram and bus stops very close. Metro station is about 1 km away, but you can take tram to get there, it takes two stops. Apartment was clean, nice clean white sheets, clean good towel, shampoo and hair conditioner. Security downstairs so you feel absolutely safe. Location is good for taking a walk by the marina to see yachts and a wonderful view to all buildings around. Wi-fi was good."

There is nothing in the kitchen, no spoons, no forks, no cups, no plates, absolutely empty. I had to buy a cup just to make coffee. Had to wait host for 1,5 hour. The main things to see are far away from the property, you need to take metro and ride 10-15 stops to see burj khalifa, the frame, future museum and ect. At least it’s one line. There was bad smell in the kitchen (can’t understand where it was coming from) had to keep balcony’s door open all the time. Very noisy street outside, cars and trams traffic all the time.

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. "My bedroom was in the basement, it was dark, and there was a cold air-con unit in the ceiling which i could not adjust. The lamp at the bedside was broken. Downstairs lounge area was very dark, and had a small kitchenette attached. Place was convenient for US border, but far from downtown Vancouver."

Found the bedroom and entrance room dark and in the basement. It did not look at all like the photos.
